Help Others Achieve Their Dreams
Helping Others Achieve Their Dreams Is Easy When You Become A Life Coach
The act of teaching in and of itself means the teacher learns the subject matter more thoroughly. Helping others understand something drives home the details of the subject more than any intensive study could. When you become a life coach, you learn even more about yourself.
Aiding others is the pursuit of their dreams is not precisely a professor/student notion. The client is a functioning individual and the joint target is clarity of purpose. The assistant simply provides that detached unbiased view that clears away distractions.
In those areas where the moderator clearly has more experience, the approach should be that of mentoring. Helping the other individual find their way by directing them to the right pathways to success. The individual opens each door and walks through, your task is to help them find the door.
Many of us start out on a journey and work as hard as we can at it. A frequent observation is that one can work very hard at the wrong things and still not succeed. Selecting the purpose before the effort to pursue it is not automatic, one must decide which is the right path.
Sometimes when something does not work out as expected, we take defensive action which may include aborting the effort altogether. This innate response is triggered by fear, and to attain the objective, avoidance only hinders progress. The guide uses this time to help the person see the challenge for what it is so it can be resolved and overcome.
It is surprising how often people are working feverishly, then when asked what the final outcome is supposed to be, they draw a blank. We get so lulled into the perspective of constantly working towards something that we fail to take the time to determine what success is. Become a life coach and help others decide what their goal is, and you may discover one for yourself.
